The higher education department of Uttarakhand has completed all the preparations for the implementation of NEP in higher education.

Uttarakhand government has decided to implement the new education policy in the state’s higher education from October 16. According to Education Minister Dr Dhan Singh Rawat, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will start this. The minister further informed that the higher education department of Uttarakhand has completed all the preparations for the implementation of NEP in higher education.

With its implementation, where students will be able to get choice-based employable education, revolutionary changes will be seen in the education system. According to the minister, the Union Education Minister will hold a meeting with the officials of the Higher Education, Secondary Education and Skill Development Department from 9:30 am at Bijapur Guest House earlier this day.

After this, the New Education Policy-2020 will be launched in the program organized by the Higher Education Department at the Chief Sevak Sadan located at the Chief Minister’s residence at 11 am. After the implementation of NEP, Union Minister BHEL will visit Government Inter College, Haridwar. Who will observe the teaching work of National Award-winning teacher Pradeep Negi in the college. In the afternoon, the Union Education Minister will attend the annual function of Patanjali Yogpeeth, Acharyakulam, Haridwar. Late evening leave Haridwar for New Delhi.

Meanwhile, last month, the government of Himachal Pradesh also gave consent to the Early Childhood Care and Education Tutor Scheme 2022 for children aged three-six in government primary schools, under the National Education Policy. The consent was accorded on Thursday at a state cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur here, the spokesperson.
