XAT 2022 question paper

XAT 2022 question paper is on the same lines as that of last three year. The only difference is the return of Essay Writing. XAT exam has had essay Writing as a fifth section until 2019, but it was scrapped the next year. However, 250-word essay has been reintroduced. Read in detail, the structure, difficulty level of XAT question paper 2022. The XAT 2022 answer key will be released by the second week of January 2022.

The XAT 2022 question paper has two parts:

  • Part 1 - VALR, DM and QADI (165 minutes)
  • Part 2 - GK and Essay Writing (25 minutes)

XAT question paper: VALR

The VALR section of XAT 2022 question paper has four RC passage and two poems. The four passages have three questions each and the two poems have three questions in total. Grammar, Fill in the Blanks, Parajumbles make up for rest of the questions.

XAT 2022: Decision Making

The Decision Making section of XAT 2022 question paper has 21 questions. The topics of passages are easy and can be done in the stipulated time. There are no Mathematical/Analytical Reasoning passages.

XAT 2022: Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation

XAT 2022: General Knowledge

The General Knowledge section of XAT 2022 has questions from geography, polity, literature and science & technology. It is a heady mix of current affairs and static GK topics. Some of the memory based questions of GK are:

XAT 2022: Essay Writing

This is the last section of the paper and 10 minutes are allotted for it. Candidates have to write 250 word essay on one of the given topics:

  1. Capitalism and democracy follow different logics
  2. Candidates with stellar academic record are preferred by B-schools for admission but they make average managers
