Q:   How much NEET score is required for AIIMS Delhi?

A:

As per the details collated from various sources on the internet, the range of marks required in NEET to get admission into AIIMS Delhi for the General Category is between 675, and if you are in the reserved category, you should aim for at least 650. This is written with the understanding that the cut-offs for AIIMS Delhi, regardless of category, are above the 95th percentile. Check NEET marks vis rank analysis for more details. The last year's closing rank is as follows:

Course

NEET Closing Rank (General-All India) 2024

Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)

47

Q:   Can I get into AIIMS Delhi without NEET?

A:

The answer will be both yes and no. Getting into AIIMS Delhi without NEET is possible since AIIMS Delhi offers a lot of courses apart from MBBS, such as BSc, MSc, PB BSc Nursing, MD, MS, DM and MCh, among various others. Admission to all these courses is either subject to an institute-specific entrance exam or INICET.

However, if the ultimate objective is to crack AIIMS New Delhi for MBBS, a student has to go through the NEET UG entrance exam followed by the counselling process. If the ranking and score obtained in the exam match with the minimum requirement of the institution, the student will get admission here for MBBS, otherwise not.

Q:   Can I get admission at JIPMER in a BSc course without NEET?

A:

No, JIPMER Puducherry admit candidates to BSc courses based on merit in NEET exam. Candidates seeking admission need to appear for the NEET examination and secure the required ranks and score. However, as per some unofficial sources, there are some BSc courses like BSc Cardiac Laboratory Technology at JIPMER, Puducherry, where admission is not based on NEET. Candidates are advised to carefully check the eligibility and selection criteria before applying to the programme.

Each institute's BSc nursing 2024 application form procedure is distinct, as are the requirements that must be filled out on the application forms. The procedure is divided into many steps, which candidates must complete successfully to submit their BSc nursing 2024 application form.
