Indian Army B.Sc Nursing exam is the annual entrance test to get admission in top army nursing colleges across the country. Only female candidates are eligible for Indian Army B.Sc Nursing Exam. Indian Army B.Sc Nursing is a four years course provided by colleges of nursing of Armed Forces Medical Services.
This is a national level examination.
Important tips for last week
Every day is important for the preparation of a competitive exam. Last week before exam is always considered critical. During the last days, many of the aspirants feel the pressure of the exam, anxiety, exam fever, high competition, etc. Students should keep their calm and focus on securing high marks in entrance exams with confidence.
During the last week of preparation, students should revise every important topic, go through the short notes prepared, and learn all formulae, design flow charts, and memorise maps thoroughly. Also, write mock tests, if possible. Avoid reading any new topics especially during the last week, study the topics already completed. Practise previous years question papers and sample papers; this would help in gaining confidence on the topics covered. Also, avoid sleeping late before one week of examination. Eat healthy and stay fit. Keep the essentials for examinations like Hall Ticket, Photos, etc., ready one day before the examination.
Main tips on time management
To manage time, create a master schedule for every subject and follow the same. Also, try to set specific goals for every study session. For maintaining proper time management, manage tasks like solving previous year questions regularly within the limited time. Complete and revise topics within a limited time. Practise mock tests and complete the same within time is the best way to manage time.
Major scoring topics (subject-wise)
Five sections covered in this exam are as follows:
- General English
- Biology
- Physics
- Chemistry
- General Intelligence
Students should cover all the topics of each subject to secure high marks. Referring NCERT, textbooks would also help in completing the syllabus within time and securing good marks. More emphasis should be given to previous year question papers, to get a fair idea of the type of questions asked during exam. Some of the important, repeated, and expected topics are given below:
General English: Synonyms, Antonyms, Spelling Mistakes, Correction of Sentences, Fill in the Blanks, Cloze Passage, and Comprehension Passages, etc.
General Intelligence: Analysis, Non-verbal Series, Verbal Series, Arithmetic Computations, Figure Classifications, decision-making, problem-solving, etc.
Biology, Physics and Chemistry: Refer to NEET most important and repeated topics to score high.
Prepare for Class 12 and Army B. Sc Nursing entrance test
It is a crucial task to manage both 12th and Entrance Test simultaneously.. Give proper time to prepare for both exams. Army B.Sc Nursing Entrance Exam covers most of the board exam subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Students could prepare well for board exams when they start Army B.Sc Nursing exam preparation. Preparing notes for one exam would help in the other examination. Hence, it is advised not to worry about preparing for both the exams and waste precious time. Extra time should be allotted for preparing topics like General Intelligence and English.
