Application forms for West Bengal ANM Nursing 2021 are available on the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (West BengalJEEB) official website, Joint Entrance Test for ANM(R) & GNM Courses, https://West Bengaljeeb.nic.in. Online application forms are available. West Bengal (West Bengal) ANM (Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery) programme will be a two-year diploma course offered by various diploma nursing colleges throughout West Bengal. The window for online correction for the West Bengal 2021 ANM Nursing application will begin on April 28 and end on April 30, 2021. In this article, the terms West Bengal ANM and ANM West Bengal are used interchangeably.

The West Bengal Government, Department of Health and Family Welfare, and the West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam Board are the conducting bodies for the West Bengal ANM nursing course, which began accepting applications on March 31, 2021, and candidates can apply until April 27, 2021, at 11:00 PM, with the choice of filling school closing on August 12, 2021, at 12 Midnight.

Who Can Apply for West Bengal ANM 2021?

The eligibility criteria for the West Bengal ANM Nursing programme have been established by the conducting body in collaboration with the Indian Nursing Council (INC). The following are the criteria:

  • Only Female candidates can apply for West Bengal ANM Nursing 2021
  • Candidates must have completed Class 12 from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or any other recognised Council/Board with a minimum of 40% in aggregate
  • As of December 31, 2021, the candidate's age should be at least 17 years old and no more than 27 years old
  • The candidate must be an Indian national and a permanent resident of the West Bengal District
  • The candidate must be fluent in Bengali or Nepali and be able to read, write, and speak the language
  • Students studying Vocational Agriculture or Vocational Home Science may also apply

West Bengal ANM Nursing Selection Criteria

Candidates will be chosen for admission to the Auxillary Nursing & Midwifery (ANM) course through the West Bengal Government's Health and Family Welfare Department based on their performance in the common entrance exam. Based on the results of the entrance exam, a merit list will be prepared and released. The top four subjects comprise the merit list. One of these required subjects is English. After all the applications have been received and the examination has been completed, the conducting authority publishes a merit list on its official website. 

How to Apply for West Bengal ANM Nursing

  • The candidate has to visit the official website of the Government of West Bengal, Department of Health and Family Welfare, https://www.West Bengalhealth.gov.in.
  • The online registration window will open, asking for only registered candidates to log in
  • Click on the 'New Registration' tab on the left-hand side of the screen 
  • To register, candidates have to provide details such as personal details such as name, address and contact details. Candidates have to provide details about their Nationality, enter their parent's Name or Name of the Guardian. Then they will enter Present & Permanent Address by entering the following State, District, Pin, Address, Post Office and Police Station.
  • After providing the above details the candidates have to create a password using a security question and answer
  • At last, the applicants have to enter the security pin (case sensitive) and then click on the 'Submit' button

Application Fee and Mode of Payment

Candidates have to pay the following West Bengal ANM  Nursing 2021 application fee using Net banking, Debit card, Credit Card only. Below is the fee:

  • General Candidates: Rs 300
  • SC/ST/OBC Candidates: Rs 200
