IES application form 2020 along with detailed notification has been released today, September 25. Know how to apply online for IES/ ESE exam below.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released IES 2020 notification and application form on its official website. Candidates can apply online for IES/ ESE 2020 exam latest by October 15 (6:00 PM).

Steps to apply online for IES Exam 2020

Candidates can fill the IES application form 2020 on the official website of the commission in two parts:

Step 1: Part-I registrations

For part-I registrations, candidates need to visit the official website and click on Apply Online link under Exam Notifications tab. Thereafter, candidates need to fill all basic details in the IES application form such as candidate’s name, date of birth, gender, category, marital status, educational qualification, etc. Once all details are filled, candidates can submit the form by clicking on the Submit button.

Step 1: Part-II registrations

In part-II registrations, candidates need to pay IES application fee in online (SBI Net Banking/ debit card/ credit card) or offline (SBI bank challan) mode.

Thereafter, candidates need to upload scanned images of photograph, signature and photo ID card as per the prescribed specifications. Once done, candidates need to select their exam preferred centre and enter application fee details in the online form. Finally, candidates can submit the form by clicking on the Submit button.

The preliminary paper of Indian Engineering Services (IES) 2020, or Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2020, will be conducted by UPSC on January 5. Check complete IES exam dates 2020.
