SBI PO salary is inclusive of multiple benefits and allowances that employees are liable to get. The revised basic SBI PO salary is INR 41,960. Besides, the basic SBI Scale 1 salary, candidates are also entitled to various allowances, perks and benefits. The post is of Junior Management Grade Scale-I. SBI PO pay scale is INR 36,000-1490/7-46430-1740/2-49910-1990/7-63840. The Gross compensation offered to candidates lies between INR 8.20 Lakhs (minimum) to INR 13.08 lakhs (maximum) per annum. The SBI Probationary Officers are eligible for Lease Rental/ HRA, DA, Medical, CCA and other allowances besides basic pay. The salary of candidates also depends on the place of posting.

The public sector banks in India offer lucrative salaries to Clerical cadre posts along with various perks, incentives and benefits. Therefore, the in-hand salary of an IBPS Clerk may range between INR 28,000 to 30,000 per month. The following allowances are offered to IBPS Clerk: Dearness Allowance: This component is 4 per cent of the Basic Pay. DA depends on the CPI and is revised after every three months. House Rent Allowance: The HRA is dependent on the location of the posting. It is 8.5 per cent of the Basic Pay for Metro Cities, 7.5 per cent of the Basic Pay for cities having a population of more than 5 Lacs, and 6.5 per cent of the Basic Pay for other cities. Travel Allowance: The official tours and travels will be reimbursed by the bank. Medical Allowance: For IBPS Clerks, the amount is fixed at INR 2000. Medical allowance is provided once in a year. SBI PO basic salary is INR 48, 480 (with 4 advance increments). This pay scale is applicable for Junior Management Grade Scale-I. The amount varies as per the place of posting. Candidates are also entitled to the following benefits and allowances: Basic Pay Dearness Allowance City Compensatory Allowance (CCA) Leased House Accommodation Furniture Allowance Medical Insurance Travelling Allowance Petrol.
