In the wake of the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, several banking exams are being postponed. Here, we have provided the list of bank exams postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021.

In view of the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic, several banking exams are being postponed. While the dates for various exams such as IBPS PO, IBPS Clerk, IBPS RRB have been announced, however, candidates are in dilemma whether these exams will be conducted as per schedule or not. Recently, SBI Clerk 2021 prelims exam have been postponed till further notice due to the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic. Here, we have provided the list of banking exams postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021.

Banking Exams Postponed Due to COVID-19 in 2021

The table below contains the list of banking exams postponed due to COVID-19. 
 
Exam Name Status Details
SBI Clerk Prelims Exam June 2021 (Postponed till further notice) The prelims exam was scheduled to be conducted in June. However, it has been postponed due to the surge in COVID-19 cases. The new exam dates will be announced soon.
SBI Clerk Mains Exam 31-Jul-2021 (Postponed) The mains exam of SBI Clerk has also been postponed as the date of prelims exam has been deferred.
SBI Clerk Apprentice January 2021 (Postponed) SBI Clerk Apprentice exam, scheduled to be conducted in January, has been postponed till further date.
LIC AAO  Exam dates will be announced soon LIC AAO exam was scheduled to be conducted on April 4, 2020. However, it was postponed due to COVID-19. The new exam dates are yet to be announced.

SBI Clerk

SBI Clerk exam is conducted for recruitment of candidates to the post of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales). In 2021, more than 5000 vacancies have been announced for the recruitment exam. The selection process comprises-prelims, mains and test of the local language. 

SBI PO

IBPS RRB exam is conducted to select candidates in Group A and B posts in the Regional Rural Banks (RRBs). Recruitment is done to the post of Officers Scale I, II, III and Office Assistant (Multipurpose). The selection process of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) includes prelims and mains exams. The selection process of Officers Scale I includes prelims, mains and interview. The selection process of Officers Scale II and III includes single online exam and interview. In 2019-20, a total of 7.13 lakh candidates had registered for Office Assistant/Clerk post while 5.39 lakh candidates had registered for the Officers post. IBPS Clerk exam is conducted for recruitment to clerical cadre posts in 11 public sector banks. The selection process includes prelims and mains exams. In 2019, total 9.91 lakh candidates had registered for the exam, out of which total 6.65 lakh candidates had appeared for the exam. Read More
