The starting salary of SBI Clerk is between the range of INR 26,000 to 29,000. Candidates are offered Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance, Special Allowance, City Allowance, Medical Allowance, Newspaper Allowance and Furniture Allowance.

IBPS Clerk Salary

IBPS Clerk Salary is the sum of Basic Pay and other Allowances like HRA (House Rent Allowance and Dearness allowances etc.) The first Basic Pay for IBPS Clerk 2022 will be INR 19,900. The IBPS Clerk Pay Scale is INR 19,900-1000/1-20,900-1230/3-24,590-1490/4-30,550-1730/7-42,600-3270/1-45,930-1990/1-47,920. The minimum basic pay for IBPS Clerk is INR19, 900 while the maximum is INR 47,920.

  • Officer Cadre Promotions is done on the basis of written exam and Interview which are conducted in SBI itself

  • An SBI Clerk is eligible to become a Junior Manager Grade Scale (JMGS-I) officer, after clearing a written test & Interview when he/she completes the service period of six years

  • The candidates selected as IBPS Clerk are on a probation period of six months
  • After completing the probation period, they become eligible for promotion
  • For promotion, candidates need to qualify the written test which is conducted inter banks
  • After qualifying this written test, an IBPS Clerk can be promoted to the position of Trainee Officer in bank
  • Candidates also get promotion based on the JAIIB, CAIIB qualification, as well as graduation/postgraduation. IBPS Clerk can be promoted to the position of Trainee Officer/Probationary
