The short notification for IBPS RRB 2024 exam was released on May 5, 2024. The detailed notification was released on June 7, 2024. IBPS Clerk 2024 exam dates were announced through IBPS calendar. IBPS Clerk prelims exam is being conducted on August 24, 25 and 31, 2024. The Mains exam will be conducted on October 13, 2024. The prelims exam of IBPS Clerk is conducted for all the registered candidates. IBPS Clerk prelims exam is divided into three sections-Reasoning, Quant and English. The total marks allotted to the test are 100. The duration of the test is 60 minutes. Yes, there are sectional timings in IBPS PO exam. In prelims exam, candidates get 20 minutes to solve each section. In Mains exam, to solve English section, candidates get 40 minutes. The duration to attempt Data Interpretation and Analysis section and Reasoning and Computer Aptitude section, candidates get 45 minutes and 60 minutes respectively. The time duration allotted for General Awareness section is 35 minutes. To solve the descriptive paper, candidates get 30 minutes. Ideal time duration to prepare for SBI PO is one year. However, many candidates have cracked the exam by preparing for only six or four months. Candidates should prepare for the exam with dedication and sincerity. The amount of time required for SBI PO preparation also depend on the candidate's knowledge and understanding about the different subjects given in the syllabus, study habits and schedule, level of dedication towards the exam. On an average, it is recommended to dedicate at least six months of consistent study and preparation for the SBI PO exam. The preparation includes reviewing and understanding the syllabus, exam pattern, practising sample papers, attempting mock tests, staying updated with the current events. Candidates must prepare the study routine that it is best suitable to them.
