In the wake of COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, several exams defence exams, SSB Interview, AFSB interviews were postponed by the examination authorities. The decision to postpone the exams and Interviews were postponed for safety of candidates. However, with the unlocking phase by the government, several examination authorities have started announcing the exam and interview dates. The date of NDA 1 2020 exam, which was postponed due to COVID-19, has been announced by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). This year, I will conduct a common exam for NDA 1 and 2 on September 6. NDA 1 exam | 06-Sept-2020 (Written Exam Date Announced) | The written exam of NDA was scheduled to be conducted on April 19. However, due to the nation-wide lockdown situation, the exam was postponed. UPSC will now conduct the exam on September 6. |
NDA 2 notification | 16-June-2020 (Notification was delayed and released on this date) | NDA 2 notification was released on June 16. Earlier, it was scheduled to be released on June 10. However, the examination authority delayed the release of notification by six days. |
Indian Coast Guard Yantrik | Exam cancelled for this year | Indian Coast Guard Yantrik exam (02/2020) has been cancelled. The exam was scheduled to be conducted in April. Indian Coast Guard Yantrik (02/2020) notification was released for 37 posts. |
Indian Coast Guard Navik (GD) | Medical exam dates to be announced soon |
Indian Coast Guard Navik (GD) 02/2020 medicals are likely to commence soon. The exact dates will be informed on the official website. The medicals were delayed COVID-19.

Indian Coast Guard Navik (DB) | Medical exam dates to be announced soon |
The medical examination of Navik (DB) 02/2020 batch will be conducted soon. Earlier, it was scheduled to be held on April 17 at INS Chilka. However, it was postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Indian Coast Guard Assistant commandant - 02/2020 batch (SRD) final selection has been rescheduled, the final selection will be conducted from September 11 to October 9 across different zones.

AFCAT | 29-July-2020 (AFSB Interview was postponed due to COVID. It was conducted on this date) | Air Force Selection Boards (AFSB) Dehradun, Mysuru, Gandhinagar and Varanasi had cancelled AFSB Interview following the outbreak of coronavirus. Earlier, the examination authority had activated the link to book AFSB exam date and centre on March 18. However, the link was disabled later. The AFSB for AFCAT 1 was conducted on July 29. The merit lists for all the branches were also released |
Territorial Army | To be announced | Territorial Army 2020 notification has been delayed due to COVID-19. There is no official update regarding the same. |
INET | To be announced | INET notification for June 2021 session is yet to be released by the Indian Navy. The notification is usually released in May. |
