Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant 2020 online application starts today; Apply till Feb 15

Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant application is going to start from today, February 9. Online application link has been activated now, candidates can apply online till February, 15.

This is a special recruitment drive (SPD) for SC and ST candidates. The number of posts going to be filled through this drive is 25 (SC-13 and ST-12).

Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant Online Application Process

Follow the steps given below for Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant online application:

• Visit the official website of the exam, joinindiancoastguard.gov.in
• Find the ‘Opportunities’ button at the upper right corner of the page
• Select the link for Recruitment of Assistant Commandant- 02/2020 Batch (SRD)
• Click on 'I Agree' button
• Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant application form will be on your display, fill all Star (*) marked entries
• Upload scanned photograph and signature in jpeg format. The size of photograph and signature should be 10 kb to 40 kb and 10 kb to 30 kb, respectively.
• Proceed to final submission of the application form

After successful registration, a unique system generated Application/Registration number will be sent to the candidates to their registered email Id. This Application/Registration number will be used for future communications with the exam conducting body.

As per the official notification, the written exam is going to be held from 1st week of March tentatively. All the applications will be verified and candidates will be shortlisted for preliminary (Stage I) selection based on marks obtained in graduation. Those who qualify the stage I, will be called for Final selection (Stage II). Candidates qualified in this stage need to appear for medical examination before induction in the Indian Coast Guard as Assistant Commandant.
