The Indian Navy has delayed the release of INET 2020 notification for June 2021 session. The notification along with the application form was expected to be released in May. However, the notification and the application form is not yet out. The examination authority has not released any notice regarding this on the official website. The notification is expected to be released soon.

Last year, the notification and application form of INET was released on May 16. The application process closed on May 29. INET application form will be released online on the official website. The application fee is Rs 205. SC/ST/Women candidates are exempted from payment of fees.

INET is conducted for both married and unmarried men and women candidates for grant of Permanent Commission (PC) and Short Service Commission (SSC) in various branches/ entries in the Indian Navy.

How to apply for INET?

The steps to fill the application form of INET are given below:

  • Visit the official website, joinindiannavy.gov.in.
  • On the homepage click on the apply online link
  • Candidates have to register themselves by filling the required details
  • Documents such as original certificates, mark sheets, Domicile certificate and (if held) NCC certificate must be uploaded
  • Pay the application fees
  • Take a printout of the application form and confirmation page

According to INET exam pattern, the test comprises 100 multiple-choice objective type questions from English, Reasoning & Numerical Ability, General Science, Mathematical Aptitude & General Knowledge. Each section will be of 100 marks. For the correct answer, four marks will be given. For the incorrect answers, one mark will be deducted. The standard of INET syllabus will be of graduation and high school level.
