UPSC announces NDA (I) 2020 exam date; Exam to be held on Sept 6

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced NDA (I) 2020 exam date on June 5. According to the revised schedule, the written exam of NDA will be conducted on September 6, 2020. Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be conducted on April 19, however, the exam was postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic. The decision on NDA exam date has been taken in a meeting held on today (June 5). The meeting was chaired by the top officials of UPSC. The decision has been taken after reviewing the present situation.

NDA 1 admit card 2020 will be released in the mid-week of August. Registered candidates of NDA will be able to download the admit card by logging with either registration number or roll number. The hard copy of the admit card is not sent to candidates by post.

The written exam of NDA comprises two sections, Mathematics and General Ability Test. The total marks of the written exam are 900. Candidates qualifying the written exam are called for SSB Interview for Psychological Aptitude and Intelligence. The SSB Interview carries 900 marks. Read Exam Pattern & Syllabus

NDA is conducted to select candidates for admission to Army, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA and Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). NDA is conducted twice a year. The exam is conducted two stages - written exam and SSB Interview.
