Assam Police Recruitment 2020: Several vacancies announced, apply from July 20

State Level Police Recruitment Board Assam is inviting application for vacant posts under Transport Department, Assam, application to begin from July 20.

Assam Police has released a notification for several posts under Transport Department, Assam. Applications must be submitted online through SLPRB website (www.slprbassam.in) and will be received with effect from July 20, 2020. The last date of receiving application will be August 8, 2020, no application will be received thereafter.

The posts for which the notification is released are under Commissionerate of Transport, Assam and Directorate of Inland Water Transport, Assam. The number of vacancies for all these posts combined is 25.

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Candidates must be Indian Citizen, ordinarily resident of Assam and must have registered their name in any Employment Exchange of Assam

Age: Candidate should not be more than 38 years and less than 18 years of age as on January 1, 2020

Educational Qualification: Educational qualification varies with the posts, candidates have to be graduate or HSLC passed. Read the official notification for details. 

Application Process

Eligible candidates can apply online at www.slprbassam.in. While applying online, candidates need to provide their basic details, also they have to upload scanned copies of their documents including photographs and signature. There is no application fee required for online application.

Selection Process

There will be Two Tests i.e. (i) First Phase Test and (ii) Second Phase Test for all the above-mentioned posts. The first phase test is a written test comprises the following topics - General Mathematics, Language, Logical Reasoning and Aptitude, History, Geography, Polity, Economy etc. of India and Assam, General awareness/General knowledge and Current affairs. The second phase test will be a computer-based test to assess the knowledge of posts applied and proficiency in the computer.
