Bihar Police SI and Sergeant notification has been released, the recruitment for 2213 posts will be conducted by Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC). BPSSC has announced a total vacancy of 2213 posts, out of which 1998 vacancies are for sub-inspector and 215 for sergeant. Application for BPSSC SI and sergeant recruitment has already started from August 16, the last date of application is September 24. Bihar Police SI Selection Process 2020

The selection process involves several stages, it begins with the successful online registration or application at bpssc.bih.nic.in. Eligible candidates need to apply by September 24, 2020. Candidates between 20 and 37 years of age and who have a bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply for the posts. Successfully registered candidates have to appear for a competitive exam that will be conducted in three successive phases -

  • Written Prelims Exam
  • Written Mains Exam
  • Physical Efficiency Test (PET) or Physical Standard Test (PST)
