Railway Jobs After 12th Eligibility
To apply for various railway jobs after 12th, candidates need to fulfill the required eligibility criteria. Railway job eligibility include age limit, educational qualification and nationality. RRB Group D Eligibility
Candidates must have passed Class 10 as well as National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by National Council for Vocational Training or Class 10 pass plus ITI. RRB Group D age limit is 18 to 33 years. Candidates must possess the required medical standards.
RRB NTPC Eligibility
After completing Class 12, candidates can apply for the various undergraduate posts in NTPC. Candidates should be between 18 and 30 years.
RRB ALP Eligibility
Candidates between 18 and 28 years can apply for RRB ALP exam. The post-wise educational qualification is given below.
Assistant Loco Pilot: Matriculation / SSLC Plus ITI/ Course Completed Act Apprentices or Diploma/ Degree in Engineering.
Technician: Matriculation/ SSLC Plus ITI / Course Completed Act Apprentices or 10 + 2 with Physics and Maths or Diploma in Engineering (As Applicable).
Railway Jobs After 12th Selection Process
The post-wise railway job selection process is given below:
RRB NTPC
RRB NTPC exam is conducted to select candidates for the posts of Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) i.e. Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Commercial Apprentice and Station Master in various Zonal Railways and Production Units of Indian Railways. The different stages of RRB NTPC exam are given below:
- 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)
- 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Typing Skill Test/Computer Based Aptitude Test (as applicable)
- Document Verification/Medical Examination
RRB Group D
RRB Group D exam is conducted to fill up a total of 1,03,769 vacancies of Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant in various technical departments (Electrical, Mechanical and S&T departments), Pointsman and other Level-I posts. The different stages of selection process are given below:
- CBT
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
RRB ALP
RRB ALP & Technician exam is conducted to recruit Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician. RRB ALP selection process comprises two stages (first stage CBT and second stage CBT) which is common for ALP and Technician. In addition, candidates who opt for ALP and qualify the CBT 2, are required to undergo Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT). The final stage comprises document verification and empanelling.
