SSC CGL Tier-I result 2020 has been delayed due to COVID-19 pandemic. The exam was conducted from March 3 to 9, 2020.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has postponed the declaration of SSC CGL 2020 Tier-I result due to the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic. The new dates will be informed to candidates soon on the official website once the situation is under control. The result was expected to be declared in April. The Tier-I exam of SSC CGL was conducted from March 3 to 9, 2020.

SSC has also postponed CGL Tier-III result that was scheduled to be released on May 8, 2020.

How to check SSC CGL Tier 1 result?

Candidates can follow the steps below to check the result of SSC CGL.

  • Visit the official website-ssc.nic.in
  • Click the result tab on the home page
  • Go to the CGL tab
  • Click the result link
  • Search your roll number
  • Download the result

On the basis of Tier-I result, candidates will be selected for Tier-II. Along with the result, category-wise and post-wise SSC CGL Tier 1 cut off marks will also be released. The scores of both qualified and non-qualified candidates are released a few days after the declaration of result. To download the scorecard, candidates need to login with the required credentials.

SSC CGL tier-II exam is scheduled to be conducted from June 22 to 25, 2020. Over 9,000 vacancies will be filled through SSC CGL 2020 recruitment exam.

SSC CGL is conducted to shortlist candidates for Group-B and C posts in various ministries/departments/organisations of the Government of India.
