New SSC CGL 2020 exam date out; tier-II to be held in October

New SSC CGL 2020 exam date has been announced today. The SSC CGL tier-II exam will be held in October. Check details.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the new SSC CGL exam date 2020 for tier-II paper today, June 1. As per the released schedule, SSC CGL tier-II 2020 exam will be conducted from October 14-17 at various test centres across the country.

It may be noted that the commission has not yet released any information SSC CGL tier-I 2020 result. The result was earlier expected to be released in April as the tier-II exam was scheduled to be held in June. However, with the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, both tier-I result and tier-II exam were delayed. Currently, while the commission has released the new SSC CGL tier-II 2020 exam date, it is yet to release the SSC CGL tier-I result date.

Also, the commission is yet to release SSC CGL tier-III 2018-19 result date. The SSC CGL result 2018-19 was earlier scheduled to be released on May 8, 2020. However, the result was postponed due to COVID-19.
