SSC announces revised exam dates for CGL, CHSL, JE, Steno, JHT, CPO & others

SSC has again postponed the exam dates of CGL, CHSL, JE, Steno, JHT, and CPO. The revised dates have been postponed by SSC. Read below for complete details.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has again postponed SSC CHSL Tier-I 2019-20, SSC CGL Tier-II 2019-20, SSC JE Paper-I 2019-20, SSC Stenographer 2019-20, SSC JHT 2020 and SSC CPO 2020. The commission has also postponed the examination for Selection Posts (Phase-VIII) 2020, Constable (Executive) in Delhi Police Examination, 2020.

The notice issued by SSC regarding this reads, “In view of the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic situation, the Staff Selection Commission has decided to re-schedule its pending examinations. The schedule announced is tentative and is subject to change as per the prevailing conditions and Government guidelines issued from time to time regarding handling the Covid-19 pandemic.”

SSC CHSL 2019-20 

SSC CHSL Tier-I 2020 exam dates have been revised again for candidates who could not appear in the exam due to COVID-19. Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be held from August 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 24, 25, 26 and 27. 

SSC JE 2019-20 

SSC JE paper-I 2019-20 exam has been postponed again. The exam will be held from October 27-30.  Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be conducted from September 1 to 4. Initially, the exam was to held from March 30 to April 2, 2020. 

SSC CGL 2019-20 

The Tier-II exam of SSC CGL has been postponed and will now be held from November 2 to 5. Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be conducted from October 12-15. Prior to that, the exam was to be held from June 22-25.

SSC CPO 2020

SSC CPO 2020 Paper-I exam has been postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic. The Paper-I exam will be conducted from November 23 to 26. Initially, the Paper 1 exam was scheduled to be conducted from September 28 to October 1, 2020. However, it was postponed and scheduled to be held from September 29 to October 1 and October 5. The exam was again postponed and scheduled to be conducted from September 29 to October 5.

SSC Stenographer 2019-20

SSC Stenographer 2019-20 exam has been postponed again. The Computer Based Exam (CBE) will be conducted from November 16 to 18. Initially, the exam was scheduled to be conducted from May 5 to 7, 2020. However, it was postponed and was scheduled to be held from September 10 to 12, 2020.

SSC JHT 2020

SSC JHT 2020 exam date for Paper-I has been postponed yet again. The exam will be conducted on November 19, 2020. Initially, the exam was scheduled to be held from October 1. However, it was postponed to October 6.
