SSC Stenographer 2020 notification will be released on October 10. Interested candidates can apply online till November 4, 2020. 

SSC Stenographer

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release SSC Stenographer notification 2020 on October 10. The application form will be released along with the notification. Interested candidates can apply for the exam till November 4, 2020. The Computer Based Exam will be conducted from March 29 to 31, 2021.

Earlier, SSC Stenographer notification was scheduled to be released on August 4. However, it was delayed by SSC due to some reasons.

What is SSC Stenographer Eligibility Criteria 2020?

To apply for the exam, candidates need to fulfill the following eligibility criteria of SSC Stenographer

Post Age limit (In years) Educational Qualification

Stenographer Grade C

18-30 

Candidates must have completed class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board or university

Stenographer Grade D

18-27

How to apply for SSC Stenographer?

The steps to fill the SSC Stenographer application form are given below.

  • Visit the official website
  • Register for the exam
  • Upload the required documents
  • Choose the exam centres
  • Select the medium of test
  • Select the post
  • Pay the application fees which are Rs 100 either online or offline. Women, SC, ST, PWD, Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from fee payment
  • Submit the application form

What is the selection process?

The selection process comprises a computer-based test and skill test. On the basis of the computer-based exam, candidates are selected to appear for the skill test. The skill test is mandatory but qualifying in nature. Candidates who will qualify the skill test will be considered for the final selection on the basis of their merit. Candidates are considered for final allocation based on their marks in the Computer-Based Test and preferences of posts provided by them at the time of document verification.
