APPSC Group 1 Main Exam 2020 Postponed. Read below for the new dates for the group 1 main (written) exam.
APPSC group 1 main (written) exam was postponed through a notice issued online on January 20. APPSC postponed the exam because of administrative reasons. The APPSC group 1 main exam was scheduled to be conducted from February 4 to February 16, 2020.
APPSC will announce the new dates for the group 1 main exam on January 27. The candidates preparing for the group 1 main exam have to wait for the new dates.

Now the candidates will get more time to prepare for the APPSC group 1 main exam and hence the competition will become tougher. So, it is the high time to prepare more rigorously as the competition going to be tough.

*The Telugu and English Language papers are qualifying in nature only and the marks will not be counted for the final merit.
Earlier, the commission has extended the dates for choosing the exam centre based on the medium of examination and Zonal preferences. The last date for the opting the APPSC group 1 main exam centre was December 31, 2019.
The APPSC had conducted the group 1 prelims exam in May 2019 and its answer key was revised twice by the commission. Around 5 lakh candidates appeared in the APPSC group 1 prelims exam for the 169 vacancies including 44 carry forward vacancies.
