WBCS exam 2018 interview call letter released. Check detail about the preference of service order and interview schedule.

The West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has released the WBCS (West Bengal Civil Service) admit card for the interview stage of the exam. The WBPSC will conduct the WBCS interview from February 25 to March 24. The names of the candidates, date and time of interview are provided in the WBCS Interview schedule. The candidates need to report in time at the WBPSC office in Kolkata.

How to download the WBCS admit card for Interview?

• Go to the official website of WBPSC - https://www.pscwbonline.gov.in/apps/home/
• Go to the Candidate’s Corner given at the right-hand side of the screen
• Click on the “Download Admit Card” link
• Click on the “Download” link given against the “WBCS Personality Test” box, a new screen will appear
• Fill in the first name and date of birth and click on the submit button
• Download the WBCS admit card
• Take two printouts for the interview day

The candidate should also download the WBCS interview programme to know the exact date and time for the interview. The candidates should search their name in the interview programme and do the needful for travelling on the interview day. In addition to the WBCS admit card, the candidates should accompany one government id proof with them at the time of interview.

Moreover, the candidates are required to download and fill the choice sheet to provide the preference of service and post. Preference must be indicated for all the Services and Posts irrespective of whether or not there are vacancies in a particular Service/Posts at present.

Please note that all the boxes indicating preference must be filled in. If any candidate has no choice for any Service(s) or Post(s) then he/she must give a written declaration that he/she is not interested in those Service(s) /Post(s).

How to fill the service preference sheet?

The service preference sheet is provided with all the services and post notified under the WBCS exam notification 2018. The candidates need to fill the numbers from 1 to 11 for their service preference in the box provided against the service name and the post.  These numbers will be the preferences given to the services and posts by the candidates. 

Example: If the first preference is for Joint B.D.O. then write ‘1’ in the corresponding box.  If your second preference is for A.C.T.O. then write ‘2’ in the corresponding box and so on.

The candidates need to submit the services order preference in the prescribed format before the interview.
