WBCS Civil Services 2019 interview will be conducted online due to the rising COVID-19 cases in the state. The commission has also released the complete schedule of the interview.

In view of the surge in the number of COVID-19 cases, West Bengal Public Service Commission has decided to conduct WBCS Civil Services 2019 interview for Group A and B posts online. The interview is scheduled to be conducted from April 30 to May 30, 2021. The commission has also released the interview schedule as per the candidate’s roll number, name, and category.

How to appear for WBCS interview online?

  • The tentative time slot for the online interview of WBCS Civil Services 2019 exam will be informed to candidates through email at their registered email address
  • Candidates will have to attend the online interview from any suitable location by accessing the link provided in the email from a computer with webcam/smartphone/tablet and high-speed internet capable of supporting video conference
  • Candidates need to login 30 minute prior to the scheduled time of the interview
  • The mobile of the candidate should remain active during the entire duration of the interview so that calls can be made to them if necessary
  • The mobile phone should be in silent mode

Documents required to be uploaded

The following documents need to be scanned and uploaded on the official website at least three working days before the interview date

  • Recent passport-size colour photograph
  • Certificate/admit card of Class 10/equivalent as date of birth proof
  • Graduation certificate/marksheet
  • SC/ST/OBC certificate, if applicable
  • Current ‘NCL’ certificate (for OBC candidates only)
  • PWD certificate, if applicable
  • Choice sheet in the format by the commission

Candidates need to produce the above-mentioned certificates to Group A officer. Candidates need to obtain the information sheet for online interview from the officer. Candidates need to upload it along with the scanned copies of the certificates or interview.
