CTET 2020 Application Fee Increased; Check Category-Wise Fee Details

CTET application fee 2020 has been revised by CBSE for July 2020 exam. Check the new category-wise CTET application fee along with other important details below.

CTET application fee 2020

CBSE released the CTET 2020 notification today, January 23. As per the released notification, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has increased the CTET application fee 2020.

In CTET December 2019 exam, General/OBC-NCL category candidates had to pay Rs 700 as CTET application fee for one paper (I or II). On the other hand, reserved category candidates had to pay Rs 350 as CTET application fee for one paper. For CTET July 2020 exam, the board has increased the fee for one paper to Rs 1,000 for General/OBC-NCL category candidates and Rs 500 for reserved category candidates. CTET application fee for candidates applying for both the papers has remained the same as previous year.

The CTET application form 2020 will be released by CBSE tomorrow, January 24. Once the CTET online form is released, candidates will be able to apply for the exam on the official website – ctet.nic.in. Candidates will be able to fill the application form by February 24 till 11:59 PM. However, candidates will be able to pay the CTET application fee by February 27 till 3:30 PM. Candidates can pay the CTET fee in online mode via credit card/debit card/internet banking or offline mode via Canara/Syndicate bank challan. Check complete CTET exam dates 2020 and notification.

CTET exam is conducted for two papers - I (primary level teaching) and II (upper-primary level teaching). You can appear for either one of the papers or both the papers.
