On August 2, 2023, the Ministry of Education released the list of vacant posts of teachers all over India for classes 1 to 8. Check the state-wise vacant seats for school teachers in India in the article.

On August 2, 2023, the Ministry of Education released the list of vacant seats in India for school teachers (Class 1 to 8) for the years 2020, 2021, 2022. The list was released in answer to the question asked by MP Smt. Phulo Devi Netam in Monsoon Session. The question was answered by Jharkhand State Education Minister Annapurna Devi Yadav. The list comprises the state-wise vacant post for teachers and the recruitment done in the years 2020-21, 2022-22, and 2022-23. The list is also available on the Prabandh Portal. The details of the list has been given below in the article.

Q:   Do all CTET qualifying candidates get a job?

A:

No, clearing the CTET exam does not guarantee jobs to candidates. By clearing CTET, candidates only become eligible to apply for teaching jobs in government schools across India. Post exam, all qualifying candidates need to go through the recruitment process of the school in which they apply for a job.

Q:   How much salary does a CTET qualified teacher usually get in hand?

A:
A CTET qualified teacher at primary level usually get an in-hand salary of INR 35,000-37,000. A teacher at upper-primary level get an in-hand salary of INR 43,000-46,000. A CTET-qualified PGT teacher typically gets an in-hand salary of INR 48,000-50,000. It may be noted that the CTET salary varies depending on the post, skill and work experience of a candidate.

Q:   When will the KTET notification be released?

A:

The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan (KPB) released the notification for the KTET Nov session on November 6, 2024. The notification was released as a PDF that comprised the details fio the KTET exam like exam schedule, eligibility criteria, syllabus and more. The steps to download the KTET notification are given below:

Q:   How many papers are conducted under the TSTET exam?

A:

The TSTET (Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test) exam consists of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2.

Paper 1 is for candidates who wish to teach classes 1 to 5 in schools in Telangana. It consists of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), and each question carries one mark. The duration of the exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Paper 2 is for candidates who wish to teach classes 6 to 8 in schools in Telangana. It also consists of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), and each question carries one mark. The duration of the exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Candidates can appear for both papers if they wish to teach classes 1 to 8 in schools in Telangana. However, they need to fulfill the eligibility criteria and qualify in both papers separately to be eligible for teaching jobs in schools in Telangana.

Q:   How many times is the TSTET exam held in a year?

A:
TSTET exam is generally conducted once a year. Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test TSTET is conducted by the Department of School Education, Government of Telangana in order to determine the eligibility of candidates for appointment as teachers for Classes 1 to 8 in Telangana State. TSTET is taken in two levels which are level 1 and level 2. The aspirants qualifying for the level 1 exam are recruited as primary teachers (classes 1-5) and the candidates qualifying for the level 2 exam are recruited as upper primary teachers (classes 6-8) in the private or government schools of Telangana.

Q:   Who conducts the TSTET exam?

A:
The TSTET exam is conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Telangana. TSTET is taken to determine the eligibility of recruiting primary teachers in Telangana government, Zila Parishad, aided, unaided, and private schools. TSTET is taken in two levels which are level 1 and level 2. The aspirants qualifying for the level 1 exam are recruited as primary teachers (classes 1-5) and the candidates qualifying for the level 2 exam are recruited as upper primary teachers (classes 6-8) in the private or government schools of Telangana.

Q:   What is the duration of the CTET exam?

A:
CTET exam is of 2 hours 30 minutes duration for each paper. The CTET exam is conducted in two shifts on each exam date. The CTET Shift 1 starts from 9:30 am to 12 noon and Shift 2 is from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm. The examination is conducted online in the computer-based test (CBT) mode in each shift. Candidates need to be present for the complete shift.

Q:   When will the TNTET notification be released?

A:

The Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) notification will be released by the Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) soon on its official website trb.tn.gov.in. The TNTET notification 2024 will be released in the form of a PDF that will contain the details of the TNTET exams like- exam schedule, eligibility criteria, syllabus, application dates, application fees & more.
