UPSC recommended 50 candidates for CAPF 2018. Read below details
The UPSC has recommended 50 more candidates for the CAPF exam 2018 on May 8, 2020. The UPSC has issued a notice regarding the recommendation of the reserve list candidates.
The UPSC CAPF 2018 exam process got over with the declaration of the final result of the UPSC CAPF exam on August 2, 2019. In the CPAF result, 416 candidates were recommended. Now with the addition of 50 more candidates, the total tally of candidates will reach to 466.

The number of candidates in the reserve list was also mentioned in the UPSC CAPF result. The reserve list is prepared to serve the purpose of the increase in the number of vacancies or the candidates leaving the services because of other selections.

The UPSC had deferred the CAPF notification because of the coronavirus pandemic. The UPSC will issue the new dates for the CAPF notification 2020 on May 20. Besides the notification, the UPSC also deferred the exam dates of IAS exam 2020, NDA exam 2020 and the notification of UPSC CMS exam 2020.
The Ministry of Home Affairs will now send the letter of intimation to the selected candidates about the reporting time and the other formalities. The candidates will be intimated to joint their respective forces at the time and dates.

The UPSC CAPF written exam is scheduled to be conducted on August 9, 2020. But the UPSC CAPF notification 2020 was postponed so the exam might get postponed too.
The UPSC CAPF exam is a three-stage exam comprising the written test, Physical Standard and Medical Standard test and the interview.
