UPSC Toppers 2021: Shubham Kumar and Jagruti Awasthi topped the Civil Services (IAS) Exam.
UPSC released Civil Service Exam Result 2021 on September 24. Shubham Kumar topped the Civil Service Exam. Jagruti Awasthi secured second rank in the UPSC final list. Ankita Jain achieved the third rank in the UPSC result list.
Shubham Kumar - UPSC Rank 1
Shubham Kumar is from Katihar, Bihar. He is an IIT Bombay alumni. He had completed engineering in the Civil Engineering stream. This was his third attempt. He secured 290th rank in 2019. He is currently undergoing the training in Defence Account Service Institute, Pune.
Jagruti Awasthi - UPSC Rank -2
Jagrati Awasthi, All-India rank 2 is from Bhopal. Jagruti is an Electrical Engineering and worked for two years in BHEL. Her long-term goal is to make a meaningful change in society. She gave credit for her success to her family and especially her brother.
Ankita Jain - UPSC Rank 3
Ankita Jain secured the third rank in the final list. She hails from Agra. Her husband is an IPS officer. She is currently serving as a member of Indian Audit and Account Services and posted in Mumbai.

UPSC released named of 761 candidates who got selected in the Civil Service Exam. Out of the total, the candidature of 151 candidates is provisional subject to a certain condition. The marks of the candidates will be released within fifteen days of the declaration of the result.

The candidates who are selected in the IAS and those who got the service of their first choice are prohibited to appear in the IAS 2021 prelims exam. It is evident from the result that most of the candidates continue their preparation even after the selection in the Civil Service Group A and B.
