CUET PG 2023: Check List of Changes Introduced This Year by NTA

The NTA has made some major changes in the CUET PG 2023 registration fees, number of exam centres, and exam city choice preferences in the exam. Read Below to know more:

CUET PG 2023 online registration started on March 20 by National Testing Authority (NTA). All those candidates who wish to take admission to postgraduate courses in central universities and other participating institutions can now fill the CUET PG 2023 Application Form. Candidates can visit the official website; i.e. https://cuet.nta.nic.in/  to apply for CUET PG 2023.

CUET PG 2023: What all changed?

The NTA has this year announced some major changes in the CUET PG 2023 registration fees, exam centres, selection of city preferences, number of participating universities and number of subject choices in the exam. Read Below to know more:

CUET PG Application Fees 2023 increased

CUET PG 2023 application fees have increased from last year where the fees for the general category was INR 800, for the selection of up to three test papers. This year the application fee has increased by INR 200, which is INR 1000 for the general category for the selection of up to three subjects. Also, the application fee outside India has increased by INR 1000, which is now INR 5000 for the selection of up to three subjects. The complete details of the application fee for the CUET PG 2023 application form are given below:

For each additional paper, candidates will have to pay the following application fees.

CUET PG 2023 Increase in number of subject choices

Until last year, candidates can apply for only one course in a slot. However, from this academic year, they will be able to choose a maximum of 20 test paper codes in all.

CUET PG 2023 Exam Centre Choices Reduced

The NTA has now reduced the selection of the exam city preferences for CUET PG 2023 exam. Earlier candidates were supposed to select four examination city preferences, but now they can only choose two exam city preferences for CUET PG 2023 examination. Also candidates must note that choice of exam cities displayed to the candidates will be based on the permanent and correspondence addresses filled during the Online Application Form of CUET (PG) 2023

CUET PG 2023 Exam Centres

The number of exam centres in India for CUET PG 2023 has been reduced. Now the exam centres in India are 313 which was 554 centres last year. However, the number of exam centres outside India has been increased. Now the exam centres outside India are 24, which was just 13 last year

CUET PG 2023 Participating Universities Increased

The number of participating universities for this year's CUET PG 2023 examination has been increased to the number 142 central and participating universities, where last year the number was just 42. It is a great opportunity for candidates now as they can apply for more universities just by appearing in single examination.

CUET PG Registration 2023: How to apply

Candidates can follow the simple steps given below to fill the CUET PG 2023 application form:

• Go to the CUET website; cuet.nta.nic.in
• Click on the CUET PG registration 2023 link

• Register by typing in credentials such as name, phone number and email ID

• Log in using the new registration ID and password that is sent to the registered mobile or email

• Pay the application fee
• Click on submit button.
