The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) have postponed the first counselling session through all forms to October 20, 2020, as the selections are still ongoing/pending. The IISERs have rescheduled the counselling dates for admission to IISERs through various channels which are KVPY, SCB and JEE. The first round of the counselling session for candidates of SCB and JEE channels will commence on October 20. The second round of counselling for all channels, including KVPY will commence on November 1, 2020.
Those candidates who were not selected in the initial list still have a chance of being offered seats in the subsequent rounds. Today is also the last date to apply for admission to IISERs via JEE scores. The application link closes today. Those who have appeared for JEE and have made the list, can apply for admission to IISERs BS-MS dual degree programme immediately as the last date to apply is October 8, 2020, and the portal will close at 11:55 PM.
How to Apply for IISERs via JEE
Candidates can go through the following steps on how to apply for admission to IISERs via JEE scores.
Step 1: The candidate will first have to visit the official website of ‘IISERs Admissions’.
Step 2: From there, the candidate will have to click on ‘JEE Application Link’.
Step 3: The candidate will be directed to a new page where they will have to click on ‘Apply Now’.
Step 4: A new tab will open on the browser. The candidate will have to enter the basic details to register themselves first.
Step 5: Fill the application form and enter the JEE scores.
Step 6: Submit the application form.
