Tezpur University extends last date to upload marks sheets to August 31 | Check Details

The Tezpur University has extended the last date to apply and upload the mark sheets, along with the new admission process for PG programmes.

The Tezpur University has extended the window for students to upload their mark sheets from July 31, 2020, to August 31. The Tezpur University Entrance Exam (TUEE) has been cancelled due to the prevailing COVID-19 (Coronavirus) cases rising in India. In order to maintain social distancing and the safety of students and the faculty, the varsity has decided to cancel the entrance exam and offer admission on the basis of merit and marks secured in the qualifying examinations.

For postgraduate programmes, admission will be done on the basis of marks secured and a Personal Interview (PI) which will be conducted by the concerned Departments for admission to MA Programmes which include, Mass Communication and Journalism, Communication for Development, Sociology, Social Work, Hindi, Cultural Studies, Assamese, English and Linguistics and Language Technology, LLM, Master of Computer Applications and Master of Tourism and Travel Management (MTTM). Selection will be done on the basis of performance in the Personal Interview and marks secured in the final examinations of the qualifying degree/diploma/certificate.

For MSc, MCom, BEd and MA in Education and lateral entry to BTech programmes will be based on the marks up to the pre-final or final examinations. No Personal Interview (PI) will be conducted for the aforementioned programmes.

How to Upload Mark Sheets

Students can go through the following details on how to upload the mark sheets online.

Step 1: The candidate will have to visit the Tezpur University Entrance Exam portal.

Step 2: On visiting the official website, candidates will have to click on ‘New Registration’ option which will be present under the logo of Tezpur University.

Step 3: Read the instructions as mentioned on the page. Click on ‘Proceed’ once you have read the instructions properly and thoroughly.

Step 4: The candidate will have to register themselves by entering their Name, Email, Mobile No. Password and Captcha.

Step 5: Once the candidate has registered, they will have to proceed to fill up the Tezpur University application form.

Step 6: Fill up the personal and academic details as required.

Step 7: Upload the images according to the size and dimensions. Upload the passport size photograph, signature and mark sheets.

Step 8: Once all the details are filled and the documents have been uploaded, the candidate has to proceed to the pay the application fee of Rs 800 for General, Rs 400 for SC, ST and PwD candidates.

Step 9: Pay the application fee online via net banking, credit card, debit card or UPI online payment.

Step 10: Once the candidate has successfully made the payment, the candidate has successfully applied online.
