Following social distancing norms, Tezpur University has decided that admission to PG and PhD courses will be done through merit and not TUEE. Check Details.
The Tezpur University has released a statement informing students that the Tezpur University Entrance Exam (TUEE) for 2020-21 session will not be conducted for a few programmes to avoid the difficulty in maintaining social distancing of large numbers and candidates. Students will be judged on the basis of merit. The Tezpur University earlier released a statement on extending the application portal and the last date to apply is till June 15, 2020.
The TUEE 2020 will not be conducted for the following programmes which are as follows:
| Integrated MA in English |
Integrated MCom |
| Integrated MSc (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Life Sciences) |
Integrated BSc BEd (Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics Programmes) |
| PhD Programmes for all departments |

The merit lists of the candidates for admission in all the above mentioned integrated programmes will be prepare by the concerned departments based on the marks of the qualifying examination (Class 12). Students are required to upload their pass certificate after the declaration of results by logging in.
How to Apply for TUEE
Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps on how to apply for TUEE:
Step 1: Visit the official website of Tezpur University to apply for TUEE.
Step 2: Open the admission tab and search for the option ‘Apply Now’.
Step 3: The candidate will be directed to a new page where they will have to search for the link ‘New Registration’.
Step 4: Fill in the details as required. One completing the process, candidates will have created a login ID and password.
Step 5: Proceed to fill the application form by logging in. Select the course, fill the personal and academic details, upload the images and proceed to pay the application fee which is Rs 800.
Step 6: After a successful payment, the candidate will be redirected to an application print out page.
