Check your CBSE results online!The Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) has announced Class X results on May 24 at around 6:30 pm and Class XII results today. The students can check their results online or on email by registering on websites www.cbseresultsnic.in, www.results.nic.in, www.cbse.nic.in. Students can also access their results through SMS by typing:

and sending it to 52001 for MTNL users; 57766 for BSNL users; 5800002 for Aircel users; 55456068 for Idea users; 54321, 51234, 5333300 for Tata Indicom and Docomo users; 54321202, 55077 for Airtel users; and 9212357123 for NIC users.

 

Students can also dial 011 – 24357276 or 011 – 28127030 to enquire for their results. See details

 

About 8.15 lakh students had registered for CBSE Class XII board exams 2012. Nearly, 2.28 lakh students were from Delhi alone. 

 

CBSE Class X results have come out with an astounding pass percentage of 98.19. Girls have maintained the lead in the results with 98.48 per cent in terms of aggregate pass percentage; boys are at 97.98 per cent. Know more

 

Class X students had the option to appear for the exam conducted by the schools or by the board, while Class XII exams have been conducted exclusively by the board. 

 

Class X marks cannot be revealed under RTI, says HC

 

Class X students receive grades under the new system. The Delhi High Court has overruled the Central information Commission’s (CIC), decision asking CBSE to reveal the marks obtained by a student in the Class X CBSE exams under the Right to Information (RTI) Act. The Delhi High Court stated that ‘marks cannot be treated as information’ under the RTI Act and ‘it would defeat the very purpose of the new grading system’. Read more

CBSE’s post-exam counselling will be active until June 7. About 50 experts including trained counselors, psychologists and school principals will be offering counseling to students and their parents at toll-free number 1800 180 3456 from 8 am until midnight. 

 

Special children can seek counselling through IVRS option too.
