CBSE to train teachers on NSE trade software
Following the introduction of latest software-based programmes of Financial Market Management (FMM) at senior secondary level, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be conducting an orientation program for teachers on the same.
CBSE is organizing a free training workshop on NLT (NSE Learn to Trade) software, in collaboration with the National Stock Exchange (NSE), on September 19, 2012. The workshop will be held at the NSE office in New Delhi. September 5 is the last date for schools to confirm their participation.
Teachers of schools that offer FMM or are planning to start it from the next academic session can attend this workshop. CBSE has also advised the principals of affiliated school to depute two teachers who have either commerce or IT background, to attend the orientation programme.
The current market trends prompted CBSE to educate students in the area of mutual funds and financial management sector. FMM is one of the six vocational courses offered by CBSE to Std XI and XII students of commerce stream. (Read more)
