CBSE X Results 2011
CBSE X Results 2011 will tentatively be declared on 23rd May, 2011. The information was given by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the results can be found on the official website of CBSE. Out of total 10, 61, 566 students this year, more than 6 lakh students had chosen for CCE (Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation).
Set up in 1921, the Board has under its jurisdiction Rajputana, Central India and Gwalior. The jurisdiction of the Board is extensive and stretches beyond the national geographical boundaries. Thereafter, Delhi Board of Secondary Education was merged with the Central Board and thus all the educational institutions recognized by the Delhi Board also became an integral part of the Central Board.
The prime focus of the Board is on:
- Innovations in teaching-learning methodologies by devising students friendly and students centered paradigms.
- Reforms in examinations and evaluation practices.
- Skill learning by adding job-oriented and job-linked inputs.
- Regularly updating the pedagogical skills of the teachers and administrators by conducting in service training programmes, workshops etc.
