Check UGC-NET answer keys online!

Did you appear for the NET (National Eligibility Test) 2012?If yes, then you can now get your scores even before the exam results are officially declared!

To enable students to assess their performance to know whether have they have qualified the exam or not, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has uploaded the answer keys of NET on its official website. However, the UGC-NET exam results are expected to be declared by September. (Read more)

Students are provided a carbon copy of their OMR sheet, so they can easily check their answers to see if they match with the answer keys.

The initiative is expected to bring about more transparency and accountability in the NET. The University Grants Commission has sought student feedback. Furthermore, the UGC will seek expert opinion in case any change is needed in the marking scheme.

UGC-NET is held twice a year in the month of June and December and determines eligibility for lectureship. This year the exam was held on June 26 on a different pattern wherein Paper III, which was earlier subjective, was made objective. (Read more)

NET is taken by aspirants seeking appointment as assistant professors (lecturers) in colleges or for acquiring junior research fellowships (JRF).

Earlier this year, in an effort to make its exam transparent and error-free, Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) had also uploaded answer keys of Joint Entrance examination (JEE) on its website. After the answers were put online, wrong questions, accounting for 14 marks in JEE, were detected. (Read more).
