Delhi Technological University First Admission List

Delhi Technological University First Admission List is now available, as per the information given by the university. The Delhi Technological University First Admission List was announced on 5th July, 2011 for its 15 B.Tech programmes in Engineering and Technology disciplines. Students can check their first list and other details here.

From 2011, Delhi Technological University opted for online admissions and holds 85 per cent reserved seats for Delhi candidates. 1,022 seats are available to Delhi candidates, which includes the General Category, Other Backward Classes and Scheduled Tribes. The number of Delhi candidates who applied is 5,745. There are 181 seats in the outside Delhi category including the general, OBC and SC/ST categories for which 4,298 applications were received. Admissions are done on the basis of the candidate's all India merit rank in the All-India engineering/Architecture Entrance Examination, 2011.

Delhi Technological University has in store B.Tech programmes in Electronics and Communication and Computer, Software, Information, Technology, Mechanical Automotive Production and Industrial Electrical, Civil and Environmental Engineering. Apart from this, the university is also offering subjects like Bio-Technology, Polymer Science and Chemical Technology, Engineering Physics and Mathematics and Computing.

The candidates declared sucessful in the first admission list are required to report for admission at Delhi Technological University, along with original documents from Wednesday onwards as per the schedule available on the website. Students who fail to appear in admission on the pre-determined dates will not be allowed for the same and the vacant seats will be filled through the second list of admissions to be announced on July 15.
