DU Second Cutoff List
DU Second Cutoff List is now available and admission for Economics (H) is open in 19 colleges, which includes Hans Raj, KMC and LSR. While Kirorimal College has decreased its cutoff by 2.25%, Lady Shri Ram has decreased the cutoff by 1%. Hans Raj College too has decreased the percent marginally to keep it at 95.5% to 96.5%. For Vocational Studies, admissions are closed in Hindu, Ramjas, IP, SGTB, Khalsa, Daulat Ram.
Popular courses like Physics (H) and Chemistry (H) are available in the DU (Delhi University) Second cutoff list at colleges such as Hindu, Hans Raj, Gargi, SGTB Khalsa, Motilal Nehru. On the other hand, Chemistry cutoff in Daulat Ram has dropped by as much as 3%. Daulat Ram will now admit students to chemistry (H) with 87% and above.
English (H) is open in a majority of colleges, which includes 21 CATE colleges. Of the 46 colleges which are offering course in English Honors, admissions are still on 37 colleges. The biggest decline in the cutoff among the non-CATE colleges was recorded in SGND Khalsa with a cutoff coming down to 82% from 87% from the first list, followed by Ramanujan which dropped it by 3%. History (H) is still open in 29 of the 39 colleges, including Hans Raj, IP, Janki Devi Memorial, Kamala Nehru, KMC and Venkateswara.
At Vivekanand College, History (H) witnessed the biggest fall. The cutoff has been slashed from 70% to 60%. The second cutoff admissions will start from June 22 and would continue till June 25.
The third cutoff will be declared on Sunday 26th June 2011. Admissions under sports and ECA categories will begin along with intake for second cutoff.
