Indian named world’s best Business Professor
An Indian Professor has outshined others to become the Business Professor of the year. While others strived to make it to the top, professor of information technology and operations management, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, Vikas Sethi walked off with a whopping prize money of 100000 USD.
The only Indian in the top 4, Vikas Sethi, competed with three Canadains Johanne Brunet, a marketing professor at HEC Montreal; Darren Dahl, a marketing professor at the University of British Columbia’s Sauder School of Business; and Kevin Kaiser, a professor of management practice at INSEAD. Professor Vikas Sethi enthralled all with his lecture and went on to emerge a winner.
Over 30,000 students and alumni nominated and voted for 222 professors from 31 countries, and an expert panel of judges selected four professors to compete in the live teach-off event on a business topic of their choice for the award.
