K-MAT 2011 or Karnataka Management Aptitude Test will most probably be held on 24th July, 2011 from 2pm to 5 p.m. K-MAT is conducted to fill all seats in the MBA/MCA programs offered by AICTE approved University affiliated Self-financing colleges in Karnataka.

The test is permitted by Government of Karnataka and is monitored by the "Committee for overseeing the entrance test conducted by the association of private professional colleges" constituted by the government of Karnataka in accordance with Supreme Court judgment in case no. Appeal (Civil) 5041 of 2005.

K-MAT 2011 is conducted by Karnataka Private Post-Graduate Colleges' (KPPGCA). KPPGCA was established on 29th January 2003 - was born of a felt need for a professional body to provide proactive support to professional education and facilitate and streamline admission to postgraduate professional courses, viz., MBA and MCA. Successful candidates will get admissions into nearly 149 colleges some of which are:

  • Administrative Management College
  • AJ Institute of Management, Mangalore
  • Al-Ameen Institute of Management Studies, Bangalore
