Liverpool Football Academy in Delhi

Liverpool Football Academy in Delhi...does it seems like a dream? If yes, then your dream is going to be turn into reality very soon. Liverpool FC has come up with a new strategy to commercialize in the Indian market. Prominent British Club is planning to set up a football academy in the heart of the capital. This school will be set up in association with the club's former midfielder Steve McMahon. He is best known as a football pundit for an Asia-based sports broadcaster ESPN Star Sports.

He said that, he has seen a zeal amongst the Indian fans which is the basic reason behind coming up with this plan. Club legend Ian Rush will also join McMohan next week in launching the project. This project will also have close tie-ups with the various schools of Delhi. Football is a very famous sport in India, so as of now it is only planning to cover Delhi and India. It is the first time venture and unique plan, so it is planning to cover whole of Asia. He has also disclosed that Liverpool team will soon visit India in near future. He said that, India is a big market to set up a base.

The Delhi project comes close on the heels of his academy in Cana Bednaulim, Goa. Tie-ups announcements with Churchill Brothers were made last February. It also has a development center in Pune. So, all the football fans can expect the Liverpool football academy soon to launch in the capital.
