OTET is conducted by Odisha Government and is taken by aspirants who aim to become teachers in primary and upper primary classes of government and private schools in the state. This mandatory examination is taken by BEd candidates. Student scoring 60 per cent score or above in OTET become eligible for teaching jobs in Odisha.

Rabi Narayan Nanda, Minister of School and Mass Education informed that as per the new concept the answer sheets of all the candidates would be available on www.bseodisha.nic.in from July 15. Interested candidates can download their answer sheets. Also, the qualified students would receive their respective certificates from August 1 by post on their respective addresses given in their application forms.
