Online registrations to streamline DU college admissions

Now the constant wait for admission to Delhi University colleges will become a thing of the past with the new format of admissions taking shape, which comprises of online registrations.

Few colleges of the University of Delhi have come up with an optional online registration for the students. Students will have to pay no money for getting registered with colleges and this will also help in doing away with submission of forms to every college as well as registration by individual colleges.

Sources in Delhi University also said that it is likely that this online registration would be optional and students who do not register will also be eligible for admission.

A number of colleges have opted for this format and admission process as it will streamline the system. However, some of the colleges are waiting for the Delhi University guidelines before they set up their online registration system for admissions.

This is a step in right direction as this will eventually help the colleges to analyse the board results to announce the cut-offs. The students have welcomed this initiative and said that this is a very positive move made by Delhi University.
