PTET exam results
Punjab Teacher Eligibility Test (PTET) 2012 was conducted on January 20, 2013. Officially, its results are to be declared on January 28, 2013. However, applicants can register online on the official website to be able to see the results as soon as they are up.

Those who crack the test will be able to apply for job of teachers from for either classes I to V, or classes VI to VIII in government or private schools in the state of Punjab.
The Punjab government’s Department of School conducts the test, also known as the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET), to evaluate eligibility and general knowledge of these prospective teachers.
PTET exam consists of two papers with multiple-choice questions. One must have cleared Class 12 with at least 45% marks and have cleared 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education to teach class I to V. For classes VI to VIII, one must have cleared graduation in any stream with at least 45% marks and cleared 1-year B.Ed course.
