Shiv Nadar University To Be Set Up in Greater Noida!

Shiv Nadar, the famous industrialist, philanthropist, Padma Bhushan awardee and Chairperson of HCL Technologies is venturing in new waters with the launch of second Shiv Nadar University. Partnered with Carnegie Melon University, Shiv Nadar University will be set up in Greater Noida and will be able to accommodate nearly 8000 students. A spectrum of undergraduate, postgraduate, professional degrees from Arts, Science and business will be offered to students through the varsity. The university is also planning to set up a School of Engineering and will have highly qualified faculty members.

The university to be set up in Greater Noida will be operational from August this year. It will be the second varsity of Shiv Nadar Foundation - the first being in Chennai. Unlike Chennai University which is an engineering based institution, Shiv Nadar University at Greater Noida will be multi-disciplinary.
