Fifth cutoff list of DUThe fifth cutoff list of Delhi University brings a ray of hope for students who wish to take admission in popular courses like BA (honours) economics and B Com (honours).

Four cutoff lists of Delhi University for admission to undergraduate courses are already out. Now, with the fifth cutoff list, most of Delhi University's 60 colleges are still offering up to four courses except for 13 colleges that have already closed for admissions.

To keep the excitement going, some seats are still up for grabs for BCom and Economics (honours) courses in a couple of North Campus and South Campus colleges. General category seats are taken up in most of the colleges. Three colleges have reopened admission for BA (H) economics. (Read more)

Hindu college reopened admissions for BCom (H) with the cut-off at 95.75-98.75 per cent and other courses like History (H) and Economics (H) are only open for OBC students. Kirori Mal College is open with BCom (H) and Economics (H) courses but only for general category students.

Seats are available in Sri Venkateswara College for five courses - BCom (H), BA (Programme), B.Com (Programme), BSc (Biological Science) and Hindi (H). North Campus colleges like Kirori Mal, Ramjas and Hansraj have seats available in more than eight courses.

Hans Raj College is open with BCom (H), economics (H), English (H) and history (H) for OBC students only. At Ramjas, OBC admissions are open in 11 courses, which include BCom (honours), BA (honours) economics, BSc (honours) physics and botany.

Delhi College of Arts and Commerce, Sri Venkateswara, SGTB Khalsa, Moti Lal and Ram Lal Anand are still offering seats in their BA programme. Rest of the colleges like Hans Raj, Hindu, IP, Kamla Nehru, Lakshmi Bai, Maharaja Agrasen, Maitreyi to Ramjas will continue OBC admissions in various courses. Most colleges like Bhim Rao Ambedkar, Dyal Singh, and Moti Lal Nehru offer a relaxation of 2% to 5% in cut-offs for girls. Read more
