Two new courses at SHU, UK

Sheffield Hallam University (SHU) in UK has launched two new courses – B.Sc (Honours) International Sport Business Management and M.Sc Mobile Computing Applications – for the next academic season. Apart from these, SHU offers 750 courses.

In India, the university has student-exchange programmes with Symbiosis International University (Symbiosis Institute of International Business), Pune and T A Pai Management Institute. Besides this, it also has its office in New Delhi to support students and partnership institutions.

B.Sc International Sport Business Management

The course incorporates basic business management theories with current sport management research, using real life case studies as examples.  International students with an apt foundation degree in a business-related area such as Business, Finance, Tourism or Hospitality can take up this program.

M.Sc Mobile Computing Applications

The course covers the development and application of new mobile technologies. Learners through this program build knowledge and expertise on platforms, architectures, development frameworks and the technologies for mobile applications.

Industry professionals wishing to develop their skills or begin a career in mobile applications can study this program. The course is ideal for graduates in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Network Programming.

Indian students associated with SHU are offered exposure with programmes supported by excellent work placements related to their subject of study. 

The application process for the remaining seats at SHU’s graduate and undergraduate programmes is on for the September-2012 intake.
