Virtual UK education exhibition for Indian students
Here comes, a piece of good news for those who want to explore international educational opportunities virtually. British Council has organised a virtual education exhibition exclusively for Indian students. ‘Education UK Virtual Exhibition’ began on September 20 and will last till October 10, 2012.
About 20 UK institutions are participating in the exhibition, whereby, one can access and download information about their admission procedures, accommodation details, fee structures, student alumni information and course details.
Moreover, one can also have a live chat with the delegates of participating institutes where one can get immediate answers to individual queries and can also get information to help take a decision about the suitable courses to pursue, etc. Some chat sessions will also be provided by the alumni giving useful information about studying in UK. Some subject specific webinars will also be conducted during the event.

This virtual education will also help students in exploring educational opportunities in UK and will also provide information to geographically isolated students who wish to study in UK.
Till date, three virtual exhibitions have been organised by the British Council for Indian students. The first exhibition took place in February 2010 and the second one in May 2011. Last year, 25 UK universities participated in the event and recorded around two lakh visitors during a period of three weeks.
