A:

The main aim of the Normalization in TS EAMCET exam is to ensure that no student gets advantage/disadvantage due to multiple sessions. Due to this process, the marks of the easy session may be reduced marginally and marks of hard session may increase marginally on the global scale. This depends exactly on the average performance in each session. Since care is taken to prepare papers of equal difficulty, these changes are expected to be very marginal. Q:   Will TSCHE use the raw scores for result preparation in TS EAMCET?

A:
No, candidates must note that the scores achieved after calculation of scores using the marking scheme of the exam is the raw sore. This score will not be used for ranking or result preparation. Rather, TSCHE will convert the raw scores into normalised scores and that will be used for result preparation and ranking. Since the question paper is different for each session, there is a possibility that the candidates may compare themselves to the variation in the difficulty levels of the question papers on the same subject. Therefore, TS EAMCET scores are normalised for the preparation of the result. The main aim of the Normalization is to ensure that no student gets any advantage/disadvantage due to multiple sessions. The normalization process brings all the candidates across all sessions on a comparative scale.

TS EAMCET 2025 FAQs

Candidates can check TS EAMCET 2025 FAQs from below.

Q:   I got 14513 rank in TS EAMCET (obc). Can I get seat in JNTUH.

A:
Based on the previous year's cutoff, a rank of 14513 in TS EAMCET under the OBC category may not be sufficient to get a seat in the B.Tech programs at JNTUH. However, the cutoff varies every year, and it is difficult to predict the exact cutoff for the current academic year. The cutoff for admission to the B.Tech programs at JNTUH through TS EAMCET varies every year and depends on various factors such as the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam, the availability of seats, and the category of the candidate. It is difficult to predict the exact cutoff for the current academic year. However, based on the previous year's cutoff, the minimum TS EAMCET rank required for admission to the B.Tech programs at JNTUH was around 20,000 to 25,000 for the general category, and for the OBC category, the cutoff was around 30,000 to 35,000. Please note that the cutoff varies every year, and it is advisable to check the official website of JNTUH or the TS EAMCET counselling website for the latest cutoff ranks. Also, meeting the cutoff rank does not guarantee admission to the programme as the final seat allotment depends on the availability of seats, the candidate's preference, and other factors.
