Well satisfied with the placements in 2023, also good infrastructure and facilities .

Placements: There was a 100% placement record for my batch, mostly by the leading optical brands like TITAN EYE & LENSKART. Roles offered to us were as store optometrist if, selected for retail & junior optometrist if, selected for clinics or hospital. Maximum package our batch achieved was 3 Lac/annum.

Infrastructure: We were given our own library card, with easier access to variety of course-related books. Classrooms were equipped with digital boards, & labs were also completed with all the necessary equipments, beneficial for our hands-on training. Campus did have 2 canteens alongwith 2 snacks/Xerox shop.

Faculty: Faculty members for courses were quite competent and Masters of their own field. Therefore the classroom sessions were knowledgeable and notes were helpful in the long run. The elaborate course curriculum was to the point in getting us ready for the internships in the final year.

Other: Scope is vast and the demand for this professions is predicted to go up in the nearing future, resulting in minimum almost no unemployment in this particular field. There were number of fest and cultural programs for all the departments which made networking and connection with different people on campus so much fun.

Good and best for my course. Just join it.

Placements: Almost maximum students of bachelor in optometry get placements after completing their degree. The 2023 batch got 100% placements. The highest salary package offered is around 3.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Lenskart, Trilochana Netralay, Titan, Eye Plus, and many more. Maximum students get internships mostly in eye hospitals. The top role is to deal with eyes and lenses.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good. Facilities like labs, classrooms, and a library are adorable. Wi-Fi isn't available for students. The hostel is away from the campus. All facilities are available in the hostel. The food is also good. Free Wi-Fi and medical care are available.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable too. Their teaching quality is brilliant. This course is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are quite difficult but not the toughest. Maximum students pass semester exams. More than 80% of students pass.

Other: I chose this course because I want to do something different. I am interested in dealing with the human body, this is the course I will deal with human eyes. I think it would be better if the college provided us with placements. Events and fests are organized on scheduled dates every year like Aagaz, Navotsav, Rroshni, Christmas, Holi, etc.
